Depending on location, you can receive anywhere from 250 to an unlimited number of talk minutes and text each month.

Who is Eligible?

Approximately 12-15 million Americans currently participate in this program. You may be automatically eligible for the service is you receive government assistance (SNAP, SSI, Section 8 etc.), or you may qualify based on household income. It may be necessary to provide proof of income or proof of program participation. The eligibility requirements for this program vary from state to state. The Lifeline Assistance program is available for only one wireless or wireline account per household.
